Kids Video Games
EA’s kids games provide a fun and interactive environment for both learning AND entertainment! Whether it’s taking care of pets in Littlest Pet Shop, or playing with Nerf guns, kids can’t get enough of their favorite toys; and now their play doesn’t have to be limited to the size of their toy box. EA has partnered with Hasbro to bring you children’s games that kids will love, featuring their favorite toys and games!
EA’s broad range of games for kids includes: Operation Mania, Monopoly and Family Game Night (which includes games based on Connect Four, Yahtzee, Sorry and Boggle, and hosted by Mr. Potato Head), which are all based on board games kids know and love. Other games, like Brain Quest make learning fun, featuring trivia, puzzles and awarding virtual rewards to encourage them to excel.
Taking Kids Games into the Future
Kids love games, and video game technology really adds to the “cool” factor. Instead of rolling dice in a cup, children can shake the Wii-mote to simulate shaking and rolling the dice on the TV screen! EA also offers games kids can play online. For example, you can download YAHTZEE and SORRY! from Xbox Live® Arcade. There are so many new and innovative ways for kids to play!
ESRB Ratings
Be sure to check any game’s ESRB rating for age-appropriate content. The rating “E” For Everyone is fine for kids of all ages, while “E 10+” is better for kids ages ten and up. Anything rated “EC” (stands for “Early Childhood”) is perfect for younger children. With these guidelines in mind, you can rest assured that your children aren’t being exposed to anything too difficult or mature for their age level. You can bet your kids will thank you for giving them a new way to play!
